Barrington is a greatly missed friend and artist who brightened many of my days with his perceptive insights into art and artists when I was manager of the Victoria Art Gallery in Bath. It was a great privilege to have known and worked with him on a solo show of his work in 2008 as well as many Bath Society of Artists Annual Open exhibitions.
