PeteTAILBYIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pete Tailby, who passed away on Saturday 29th August 2026, aged 81 years.
A much-loved husband to Les, father to Sam, Jay, Sarah & Chris, father-in-law to Gary, Kam & Trig, grandad to Georgia, Olivia, Beth & Nia and great-grandad to Layla-Rose.
Pete will be deeply missed by his family, friends and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A service to celebrate Pete's life will take place on
Thursday 24th September 2026
South Leicestershire Crematorium
11:00am
Family and friends are warmly invited to attend as we come together to remember Pete and to celebrate his life together.
In lieu of flowers, donations if desired can be made to Redgate Farm Animal Sanctuary, in Pete's memory.
