Muriel EileenTARNEYNee Day Following a short but serious illness, Muriel sadly passed away at U.H.W. on July 22nd 2019, aged 78 years. Devoted wife of Anthony, loving mother of Anthony, Anita and Jayne and a caring grandmother to all of her grandchildren. A special thank you to her niece Hayley for all of her recent help and support. A dear friend and colleague to all at Hollies School, Pentwyn and adored neighbour, past and present to those of Sanderling Drive, St Mellons. The family would also like to express their heartfelt thanks for the immense care and sympathy received from the nurses and staff of Ward A6 South at the U.H.W. Resting at James Summers & Son, Roath Court Funeral Home, Newport Road until the service at Roath Court Chapel on Thursday 15th August at 3:30pm, followed by committal at Thornhill Crematorium Chapel. Small posies or sheaves are welcome or donations, if preferred, can be made at the service for the Alzheimer's Society or Cancer Research Wales.
