Dear Anthony and Family,
I was greatly saddened to hear of Muriel's passing. I worked with her for a number of years, firstly when the school was Pentwyn and later when we renamed it The Hollies after the amalgamation. I had always found Muriel dependable and helpful at all times, but as a Head teacher, it was even more obvious how reliable and efficient she was. She always got on with her work quietly and super efficiently and was such a great support. At the first person who was seen when visitors entered the school, she was always pleasant and helpful. I and, I know many others, really valued Muriel and were very grateful for her. She was a true friend to all at the school, staff and pupils alike.
I am sorry not to be able to attend the funeral as I will be away.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Best wishes,
Ceri Griffiths
