JamesTAYLORMr James William Taylor passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 20 at The Royal Blackburn Hospital, with his family by his side, aged 78. Devoted husband of Betty, fantastic loving father of Paul, Nick and Russ, wonderful stepfather to Anita, and loving grandad and great-grandad. Jim’s funeral service will be held at St Wulstans Roman Catholic Church, Great Harwood on Tuesday, August 2 at 10am, followed by interment at Great Harwood Cemetery. A lovely man who enjoyed his family and was happiest when in their company. Jim’s interests included vintage cars, building many MG and Jaguar sports cars in his early life. He enjoyed days out with Betty and a good pub lunch. A great lover of any sport, he spent many hours watching TV, also enjoying popular comedy programmes, and enjoyed his own brand of comedy with those around him. He will be greatly missed by many. Family flowers only please; donations in memory of Jim are being gratefully received on behalf of The East Lancashire Hospice c/o champfunerals.com.
