Pamela & GeraldTAYLORTAYLOR Pamela & Gerald Pamela passed away peacefully at the family home in Bradley Bar on 14 October, aged 88 years, followed by Gerald, who passed away peacefully 11 days later at the family home on 25 October, aged 89 years. They were married for 63 years.

Pam and Gerald were the much-loved parents of James and Dianne, proud grandma and grandad of Heather and Gregory and loving great grandparents to Lucas and Oliver.

A funeral service to celebrate the lives of Pam and Gerald will be held at Huddersfield Crematorium on Wednesday 15 November at 11.15am.

Family flowers only please, but donations to Kirkwood Hospice would be gratefully received for which a donation box will be provided.

I have fond memories of Mr and Mrs Taylor at their house whilst I was visiting Dianne. They were both extremely generous with their time and advice and always made me feel really welcome. I particularly liked having sweet treats with Mrs Taylor and Dianne in the kitchen on Christmas Eve. They were both a big part of my teenage years.
We didn't call our friends' parents by their first names 40 years ago!

I treasure only warm and wonderful memories of Pam and Gerald, for me and my late brother (Simon), especially from our younger and formative years, when they were such dear friends to my father Stuart and mum Betty. They provided such love and fun (especially when they came to visit in one of Gerald’s wonderful cars!) Rest in peace and love. Together now forever. Richard Affleck
