With the heaviest of hearts I write this tribute to my beloved friend. For nearly 10yrs I spent more time with you than anybody else, as your friend, colleague and more aptly, your nagging work wife!! We shared so many highs and supported each other through the lows. No matter what challenge each day gave us, we could shut that office door and it instantly became our happy place! Whether in our office down the stairs or sat back to back in the tiny corner cubby hole, from calming each other down after losing our minds over some people's stupidity, lack of common sense or general ineptitude to crying with laughter at a shared "in joke" that we would find hilarious but nobody else understood, you made each work day worth getting up for. In fact, it is because of you that I continued that crazy 86 mile a day commute for so long because I couldn't imagine not sharing my working day with you!!
Navigating life knowing we've already made our final memory seems incomprehensible but my God I feel so damn lucky for all the memories I have. We've shared highs, lows and everything in between, spent hours talking about our girls (your eyes lit up with pride when you spoke about Freya and Millie), chatting about sport, weird tv programmes nobody else watched, or wanted to admit to (I'm smiling now thinking of you crying with laughter about deodorant boy). Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your love, friendship and the many many times you held my hand on nights out because I couldn't walk in my extremely high heels). I promise to always think of you when I spot a Toblerone (I continue to argue it is the work of the devil) and raise a smile at finding the cheapest, nastiest bottle of rola cola, to be drunk 2ltr at a time to wash down your ham sandwich with no mayo (sandwich weirdo)!!
Thank you for the love, thank you for the laughs but most of all thank you for being you, you meant the world to me, love you always "Taylors", forever your work wife, Flo xxx
