GeorgeTAYLORIt is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of George, who died peacefully at home in the arms of his loving partner, Yvonne, on Thursday 9th April 2026, aged 71 years.
A devoted dad to Adam, Robert, Leanne, Donna, and Michael, and a very special grandad to all 11 of his grandchildren. George will be fondly remembered by all who knew him, especially his fishing friends.
A funeral service to celebrate and remember George's life will take place on
Monday 27th April 2026 at 2:00pm at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe, followed by a burial service within the grounds, where he will be laid to rest beside his great-grandson, who sadly passed away recently.
Family flowers only, please, but donations are welcome in memory of George
to support the local Macmillan team & Cystic Fibrosis Charity.
The family kindly request attendees wear smart casual attire.
