Gib was my teacher in Merchant Navy college back in the seventies. A caring gentleman who introduced me to the great outdoors. I last saw Gib around ten years ago in the Windsor in Penarth he remembered me after all those years. I’m sure you miss him dearly.

Grandad,

I will always remember spending our time with you in Angle in the summer and you singing to us at the house. I hope your sailing away peacefully with grandma somewhere, you'll always be remembered and loved.

It was a Pleasure to have known you and provide care for you after Ray had passed and will miss our talks about boats, life and engineering and watching bits of James bond movies on the weekend evenings.
