OlwenTELFER22nd December 2024. Peacefully at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor, aged 87, of 18, Pentre Uchaf Estate, Dyffryn Ardudwy.
Kind and loving wife of the late Ron Telfer; mother of Pete and his wife Suzy and the late Barbara Telfer; nain of Penny, Lucy and Alis Olwen; sister to Mair and the late Lynne.
The family would like to thank friends and neighbours in Dyffryn and beyond who brought many years of happiness to mum and especially over more recent times, Gwyneth, Elinor, Mai, Rhian, Iona, Val, Geraint, Dewi Feet, Gareth, the lads at Smithy Garage, the fitness class and her coffee companions at Goodies in Barmouth and Portmeirion Café in Porthmadog, and many others, diolch o galon.
A special thank you is also expressed to the doctors and nurses at Ysbyty Gwynedd who gave mum the care she needed and helped her pass peacefully even though they themselves were under great pressures of work.
Public funeral service at Bangor Crematorium on Monday January 20th 2025 at 1.30pm.
Family flowers only. Donations will be gratefully received in memory of Olwen towards Save the Children through the funeral directors.
