Joan RobertaTELFORDJoan Telford, aged 87 years. Born 20/11/1938. Sadly and peacefully passed away on 28/04/2026. Beloved wife of Brian and Mam to Deborah, Kay, Wendy, Ruth, Pauline and Donald. Grandma and Great Grandma. Big sister to Catherine and William. Mother-in-law to Paul, Bernie, Stephen, Steve and Dawn.
Joan lived a full life married to Brian and caring for their children in their home in Wideopen. She later lived independently at Crossgates in Wallsend and then finally at Melton House care home.
She loved life and cared about animals and did more than her fair share through voluntary donations and by caring for numerous animals in her own home.
Joan wished for a pure cremation as she hated "fuss" and her wishes have been followed. So please be advised that there will be no service.
Mam, you will be sadly missed by all who love you.
