Jean KarenTELLWRIGHTPeacefully passed away on Thursday 28th August at Samuel Hobson House with her loving family by her side. Jean, aged 84, of Harpfields (originally from Basford). Jean was the dearly beloved wife of the late Brian. A much loved mum to Steve, Joanne and Karen. A cherished Nana of Sam, Molly, Matthew and Mason, a beloved sister to Margaret and the late Jennifer, a treasured Aunt and friend. The funeral service will take place at Wolstanton Methodist Church on Tuesday 9th September at 11:30am followed by cremation at Bradwell Crematorium.

Relatives and friends wishing to attend the service are kindly invited to meet at the church.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired are preferred to Samuel Hobson House in memory of Jean.

I am very sorry to hear of the death of Jean. I previously had heard of the death of her husband Brian, both of whom I had a great deal of respect for, knowing them many years ago when I was close to the whole Shaw family. I only knew Steven when he was very young so probably won't renmember me, but I send my utmost symnpathies to the whole family. I would dearly like to contact sister Margaret, hopefully to see how she is after all these years (Nigel Thorley)

A lovely mum of a wonderful friend. Jean was always welcoming whenever I called, offering a brew and a chat. My condolences to Jo, Kaz and Steve and the rest of the family.
