Joan MargaretTERRINGTONOur family announce the sad passing at Southmead Hospital on Sunday 12th January, of Joan Margaret Terrington aged 81, beloved wife to Kit for 52 years. Sadly missed by daughters Cherie and Claire, sons in law Dave and Rory, grandson Jamie. She was born in 1943, in Hunmanby, North Yorkshire, where grieving sisters Marion, Lona and Lena, brothers Kenny and Alan and her wider family still reside.

The funeral will be held at Westerleigh Woodlands Chapel, Westerleigh, on Tuesday 11th February at 2:00pm. There will be no wake, at Joan's request.

Family flowers only and donations to St Peter's hospice and the Pulmonary Fibrosis Trust can be made as you leave the chapel. Co-op funeral Care Redfield 65-73 Church Road, Bristol, BS5 9JR

I've known Joan for 27 years, through the St. George conservative club where Kit gave me the job as bar staff,Joan was there as a member and played bingo on Sundays and skittles, a good skittles as well , I got on really well with her , she was a lovely, friendly lady xx
