Mark DavidTHEAKERPeacefully on 6th August, at home, Mark of Pontyclun; beloved husband of Sara, devoted father of Adam and Jack, dear father-in-law of Katie and Rhiannon, cherished grampa of Ellie, Archie, Olivia and Oscar, loving son of Ralph and the late Jean, dearly loved brother of Colin, much loved brother-in-law and uncle. Mark will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends. Funeral Friday 27th August, service at Coychurch Crematorium, Bridgend at 12 noon. Family flowers only, donations if so desired for Macmillan Cancer Support or Friends of Velindre c/o W.H Preene & Son, Mwyndy, Pontyclun. CF72 8PN Tel: 01443 223368.

Mark, you and Foxy were my 1st rugby coaches and you was such a lovely guy. Was gutted to hear this news. The crowds that lined the streets in pontyclun yesterday shows how much you meant to people. RIP ♥️
