Died in hospital after a short illness, on Wednesday November 24th, aged 71 years, Joe (former N.U.F.C. player and Northumberland County Cricketer), much loved father of Dawn and Richard, husband of their mother Joyce for 34 years, father-in-law of Andy and Helen and proud grandfather of Adam, Luke, Patrick and Holly. Private cremation. Family and friends please meet for a Memorial Service at St. Andrew's Church, Newgate Street, Newcastle at 12.00noon on Wednesday 8th December and afterwards at Jesmond Cricket Ground, Osborne Avenue, Jesmond.
