RodTHIELEPeacefully at home, after a long and bravely fought battle on Monday 11th August 2025, aged 67 years.
Rod Thiele (ex BT) of The Grove, Heathhall. Beloved Husband to Linda, much-loved Father to Lisa and Steven, dear Brother to Monica and Carina. Rod was a friend to many, who will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
A service to celebrate Rod's life will take place at the Crichton Memorial Church on Thursday 28th August at 12:30pm. To which all are respectfully invited to attend.
The Funeral cortège will depart from Rod's home at approximately 12 noon. As a keen biker and Harley Davidson enthusiast, the family have invited any Bikers who wish to join Rod's Last Ride to meet at The Grove for 11:45am.
Family flowers only please, donations if desired may be given at the service in aid of MS-UK and The Brain Tumour Charity.
