Dorothy GillianTHOMASof Beacons Park, Brecon (formerly of Penwern, Llanspyddid) Passed away peacefully with courage at Brecon War Memorial Hospital on Monday 12th November, 2018 aged 80 years. Much loved wife of the late Stephen Thomas, devoted mother and mother in law of David and Julie, Kevin and Kate, Gareth and Fran and proud Nanna to Gareth, Rhodri, Isabel, Frances, Delyth, Huw, Megan and Elli. Also much loved sister and auntie. Gill was retired County Councillor for the Yscir Ward and past Chairman of Powys County Council. Private burial followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at Brecon Cathedral on Friday 23rd November at 1.30pm. Donations if desired to Wales Air Ambulance and Brecon Area Dementia Friendly Community.
