EdwardTHOMASTed of Hotwells died peacefully on 23rd July 2021, aged 83. Born in Devonport, graduate of Keble College, Oxford and emeritus professor at the University of Bristol. Author of several works on physics and, subsequently, adult education, he became an influential voice for continuing education across Europe. Dearly loved husband of Erica (deceased), devoted father of Katherine and Gerard, grandfather and friend to many. In accordance with Ted's wishes, a private family cremation will be held. Donations, if wished, to the Welsh National Opera.
