Alan HenryTHOMAS(Slatyford) Peacefully at home with his family on Friday 28th January 2022 aged 92 years. Beloved husband of the late Iris. Much loved dad of David, Barbara, Alan, Paul, Lyn, Catherine, Louise and the late Marie. Dear father in law of Linda, Josie, Susan, Frank, David, Billy and the late John. Also a loving grandad, great grandad and great great grandad. Would all please meet for funeral service at West Road Crematorium on Monday 14th February at 1.30pm. Family flowers only please but donations gratefully received on behalf of Lake District Mountain Rescue a collection box will be available at the service. All enquiries c/o Clark Pearson Funeral Directors, Denton Burn. Tel 0191-2744373.

It's a privilege having the Thomas's as in laws but it was extra special having Alan for a father in law, kind, caring hard working and a true family man there is many an anecdotes to be told and he taught me how to make beautiful hanging baskets ... love and miss you 🌹🌹🌹 RIP Susan xxx
