Neil BertramTHOMASPassed away on 15th August 2024, at County Hospital Stafford, aged 64 years.

Son to the late Dave & Marianne. Neil will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Funeral service will take place on Wednesday 11th September 2024 at 1 p.m. at St Thomas & St Andrews Church, Doxey, Stafford, followed by cremation at Stafford Crematorium.

Family flowers only please but if desired donations can be made in Neil’s memory to U.H.N.M Charity to support County Hospital Stafford.

This is very sad news.
Was at Castlechurch Primary and King Eddies with Neil and have some fond memories. Particularly Saturday nights at Chaucer Road with Neil and Mark and Neil dancing at my wedding, a sight to behold! Used to meet up often when Neil was working at the Newsletter, always good company. Lost touch latterly when we moved away but will remember him fondly

Neil was always such an interesting person to meet and talk to. He was like an encyclopedia of political knowledge, and a great intellectual also involving himself in such a wide range of subjects, conservation, church and local history. He was a great support to us a few years back, when we needed a calm and erudite person.
We will miss him and his company.
