KayTHOMASKay Thomas passed away peacefully on 14th October 2024, after suffering with Alzheimer's disease. Kay was 84 years old and lived a full and vibrant life until very recently. Kay was a primary school teacher in Chorlton (Manley Park Primary School and Mauldeth Road Primary School) for many years, and an esteemed musician in orchestras across the north-west.

Kay was a beloved mother to Robert and a wonderful grandmother to Henry, Charles and Barney. Kay was the loving wife of Robert 'Bob' Thomas, who sadly died in 1996. Kay was a dear friend to so many and had a smile and a compliment for everyone she encountered.

The funeral service will take place at St George's Church, Church Street, Altrincham, WA14 4DB. It will commence at 10.30am on Friday, 8th November 2024.

I think of her often she was a fabulous teacher
And my favourite at Manley Park...and I remember her going on Maternity leave when she had the baby and I felt so grown up taking a present around to the house for baby Robert.
