THOMPSONdied suddenly on December 2nd 2001. He was the dearly beloved and much treasured husband of Joan Mary and the deeply loved and very special father of Michael, Hilary, Josephine and Nicola. Also, the adored Poppa of Matthew, John, Rachael, Daisy, Harriet, Elizabeth, Barnaby and Hilary. A caring and supportive father-in-law to Neil, Ann and Tim. He is survived and sadly missed by his sisters Audrey and Barbara and his youngest brother Paul. He was a true gentleman.His body will be received into Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Mickleover at 6.00pm on Sunday, December 9th. His life will be celebrated at a Requiem Mass on Monday, December 10th at 11.00am at Our Lady of Lourdes and afterwards at Markeaton Crematorium at 12.15pm.DEO GRATIAS.Family flowers only please.
