BrianTHOMPSON(Whickham) Peacefully passed away in hospital after a long illness on Thursday 23rd February 2023, aged 87 years, Brian. Much loved Dad of Sharon and Andrea, father-in-law of Neil, loved grandad of Nicola, Laura, Luke and Adam, and their respective husbands and partners, beloved great grandad of Layla and Charlotte, beloved younger brother of Poppy and uncle to many. Funeral Service at West Road Crematorium (West Chapel) on Monday 13th March 2023 at 1.15pm. Would family and friends please meet at the Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to The British Heart Foundation c/o Martin Rankin Funeral Directors 7 The Square, Front Street, Whickham, NE16 4JB. All welcome afterwards at The Coachmans, Whickham.

Our time together was special
So were the memories we made
And although you live in Heaven now
Those memories never fade
I bow my head in silence
And remember my dad with love
And I know that you are up there
Watching from above
Everyday's a struggle
And nothing feels the same
And my heart breaks a little more
Every time I hear your name
You'll always be remembered
And time may heal my heart
But a piece of me is missing
Since the day we had to part
If Heaven is for Angels
Then I know that's where you'll be
And I know you will be waiting
When heaven calls for me.
