Whilst on his way home to the UK (Ponders End, Enfield) from Trinidad via St Lucia, Shabaka passed from a heart attack on July 4th, in St Lucia.
He was buried in Lapeyrouse Cemetery, Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago on the 26th September 2023.
He leaves his wife Angela and son Oba-Shabaka
