Passed away peacefully at Magdalen Park Care Home on 14th November 2023 aged 87 years.

Re-united with Val. Loving Partner of Jan. Beloved Dad of David and Neale. And a dear Grandad and Great Grandad.

Service to be held at the small chapel Chanterlands Crematorium on Friday, 1st December at 12 noon.

Family flowers only please but donations for Cancer Research UK may be left at the service.

Eric was married to my Mum Elaine’s cousin Val. I have lot of memories of you at Emott Road. I know you spent a lot of time when you were younger with Elaine and Tony with many holidays. There was a time when Lily & Arnold had a disagreement with Aunt Cis. I have no idea what it was about. I know Mum & Dad were delighted to see yourself and Jan later in life. Mum and Dad have both passed in the last 2 years. I tried to get in touch with the family but was not able to. I hope you see this and know how much we loved Eric. He was such a story teller and could hold the room. He had a lot of charisma Alison Wilburn ( Browne)

Not sure if any of Eric's loved ones will see this but I just wanted to say that I hope Eric has a lovely send off tomorrow, I was one of Erics carers at Magladen, he was such a lovely man and is sadly missed, I will thinking of you all tomorrow, sending lots of love ❤️ Adele xxx

Eric, the loveliest soul whose warmth radiated throughout everything you did. My fondest memories will be our tea and chats. The Christmas table will feel a little empty without you. Love you always Sharron.
