I remember the first time I met you Jean, was in an Italian restaurant in Tranmere. I was immediately taken by the twickle in your eyes and your warm and frinedly smile. That is the image of you that always comes to mind, and indeed did so when we celebrated your life last Wednesday. I must admit to shedding a tear, when listening to the tribute to you from your loving daughter Linda. Later we smiled and laughed as we celebrated you and your unique attraction to Italian waiters which I first noticed on the first day I met you. You are a unique and strong woman and a major credit to the nursing profession, that my Mum too was dedicated to. We will never see the fortitude, patience and wisdom that women of your generation gave to the Nursing Profession. That in itself is one of the key reasons you are missed and will be for the rest of the lives of those to whom your smile lit up the room and gave us all the template by which old age and the latter years of our lives should be faced and enjoyed. Rest in Peace Jean and may your love of Linda forever remain in Linda's heart and her memories of life with you.x
