James Charles Bell KljTHOMSONIn his 101st year, of Comrie, Perthshire, (formerly World Alliance of YMCA's Executive Secretary for Refugees and Rehabilitation), passed away peacefully in the tender care of the nursing staff of Crieff Community Hospital, on Friday, 1st December 2023.
Dearly beloved Husband of the late Mary, much loved Father of Margaret, Rosemary, James and the late Roderick, greatly respected Father-in-law of Adam and Jacky, special Grampie to his five Grandchildren and lovingly known as 'Grandpa coffee' to his eight Great-grandchildren.
Great friend to many across the globe and sadly missed elder of Comrie Parish Church.
Funeral service, to which all who knew Jim are respectfully invited, at Perth Crematorium, on Wednesday, 13th December at 2:00pm.
No flowers please.
The family welcomes donations at the Crematorium and online in aid of The Bangkok YMCA's Children's Home.
A service of thanksgiving in celebration of Jim's life will be held later within Comrie Parish Church, service details to follow.
