The obituary notice of William John (John) THORN

I knew cousin John all his life, he Jean and I spent many happy times together growing up. John was a "mans man", straight talking, no aires or graces, but underneath he was almost a sentimental soul. My family, Margaret, Kim, Dawn and Tanya have such great memories of the times spent at the farm. The girls still remember, how on their visits, John used to slip 50p pieces into their hands when they were very young. Whilst we will miss him from afar, that is nothing compared to the loss which will be felt by friends and family at home. So, may I take this opportunity to express our sincere condolences to his devoted Rosalyn, and his sister Jean and her family.
