Verdun JohnTHORNE(Vince) Suddenly on April 24, 2015 at Llandough Hospital, Verdun John, aged 62 years; adored husband of Jean, loved Dad of Neil, Michelle and Hayley, cherished Bampy to Laura, Rebecca, Abbie and Joseph. Resting with Michael G Ryan Son & Daughters Ltd, 106-108 Malpas Rd, Newport, until the funeral Thursday May 14, 2015 at Thornhill Crematorium, Wenallt Chapel 2.45pm, prior to interment at Thornhill Cemetery at 3.30pm. At the family's request please wear colourful clothing. Following the funeral all are welcome to join the family for light refreshments at The Ffynnon Wen, to share memories and celebrate Vince's life. Family flowers only please, however if desired, donations would be appreciated for Cancer Research UK, c/o the funeral home.
