Our beautiful boy, much loved son of Mum Shelley and Step-Dad Dave, Dad Marcus and partner Lucy. A loving brother to Beau (mum Sharon), cherished grandson to devoted nan and grandad, Carol and John and grandmother Ruth. He was a beloved nephew to Justin, Penny, Rob, Rachel and a dearly loved cousin to Kate, Ebony, Lewis, Lucy, Amelie, Emily and Lauren. He will also be dearly missed by our cat Aero. Luke was loved by the entire car community and his wider circle of friends whom he would do anything for. He had a vivacious, fun loving and spontaneous personality combined with a winning smile that will never be forgotten.
A funeral service to celebrate his life for all who wish to attend will take place at
Gloucester Cathedral on Wednesday 15th November 2023 at 11.00am, followed by a private crematorium service for family and close friends only.
There is no dress code, however Luke's favourite colours were purple and pink (and black and white) and he had a huge passion for anime, and anything Japanese (especially cars).
'My darling son Luke. I love you more than the whole universe and you are the best thing that ever happened to me. I have been blessed to spend 20 wonderful years with you. You were the light in my darkest days. You comforted me when times were tough, and we always hugged as 'hugs make everything better'. I can't hug you anymore and we can't wipe away each others' tears, but I know that you are at peace and driving all the cars you ever dreamed of. I know you will make heaven a brighter place with your winning smile and wicked sense of humour, and everyone will love you just as they did here on earth.
It was always me and you, and we conquered the world together as a team. You have always been and will always be my world. We were lucky to be each others' best mates as well as Mum and Son. I loved you then, I love you now and I will always love you. This isn't goodbye my darling, this is simply a see you later. Until we meet again, Rest In Paradise, my beautiful boy.
