JohnTIERNEYJohn TIERNEY (Sean) of Ballinakin, Co Kildare and Coventry, West Midlands. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by all his family, on 6th August 2024 (aged 88).

Beloved husband of the late May Tierney (nee Finlan) Father to John, Michelle, the late Anthony, Julie and Karen. Father-in-law, Grandad and Great-Grandad. Special friend to all who knew him.

Reception into Christ the King RC Church on Tuesday 17th September 6pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday 18th at 11am, followed by interment in St. Paul's Cemetery.

Remembering Mr. and Mrs. Tierney with gratitude and respect. They gave great support to our school where their children were a pleasure to teach. I appreciated their warm hospitality when there was a home visit to make. Such a lovely couple. I send my sympathy to the family.
