At peace now Grandad, and back with Granny. Never a man to do anything by halves, you gave it everything, right into your last hours. Thanks for all the sweets and history lessons, but most of all, thanks for your mouse stories 🐁 and being such a fun Grandad ❤️ We will miss you and will always love you ✨

As a child I wasn’t sure if he was my big Brother and then he went away for so long. I was babysitter to the boys and loved them dearly. All had different characters. He knew me better than I knew myself and have been blessed to be able to spend a lot of time with him over the past three years. My hero and my Uncle. I will miss you dearly but take comfort the wonderful woman who was Aunt Margaret will be with him. Reunited in love. A true love story. I will always love you both xmarthax
