KevinTIPLINGof Woodhead Close, Waterfoot, passed away peacefully in hospital on Tuesday, January 19, aged 69. During his working life Kevin spent 11 years in the Royal Artillery (22 Locating Battery). He also had a variety of other jobs including being a cash delivery driver, then a trainer, a CCTV monitoring supervisor, was a qualified auditor and most recently was employed as a caravan engineer at Rossendale Mobile Caravan Services. In his spare time he greatly enjoyed travelling the UK in his caravan and motorhome. He was also a flyball competitor for six years, a Manchester United fan, a dog lover and a beloved family man. He was also a member of the Mobile Caravan Engineering Association and a Royal Artillery Veteran. Kevin was a much loved partner of Ann, a loving dad of John Paul and a dear brother of Lynne and Gerald. He will be very sadly missed by all those who knew him. A private funeral service will be held for immediate family and close friends only due to the current restrictions. Family flowers only please, but donations are being gratefully received in memory of Kevin for the Royal Artillery Charity Fund and can be made by phone, by post, or by envelope drop off at the funeral home (Accrington or Oswaldtwistle).
