The family of Robin Titley, for many years a teacher at Lancaster Boys School in Leicester, are sad to announce his death in Herefordshire where he had been living since his retirement.

Loved and missed by all his family who will cherish their memories of him.

Loving Dad to Angela, Rachel, Veronica and Edward. Uncle to Alison (in Australia). Grandad to 9 and Great Grandad to 3.

Funeral at 12.30pm on 24th April 2026 at Offas Orchard Green Burial Ground, Gladestry, Kington Herefordshire, HR5 3NY.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Mr Titley’s family. I have fond memories of being a pupil during my childhood at Lancaster Boys school. I’ll always remember when he was announcing the test results in class back in 1985. His exact words were and I quote: “Dunkley, you must have had a brain storm 98% well done” It felt magical and he always got the very best out of us in class. It’s a fond memory that I’ll always cherish. My favourite teacher by some distance always fair and someone I looked forward to having my lessons with. RIP Mr Titley such a fantastic and exceptional teacher
