Glenys PatriciaTOMKINSONGlenys passed away peacefully on Sunday 9th August 2026 at home surrounded by her loving family, aged 74.
The cherished wife of the late Eric, loving mum to Debbie & Suzanne, much loved nan of Evan & Isla & respected mother-in-law to Mark & Becky.
Throughout everything Glenys faced, she continued to show strength, courage and love. Glenys will be fondly remembered for her warm personality, friendly smile, and love of making happy memories, and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her.
The funeral will be held at Birches Crematorium, Northwich, at 10.30am on Wednesday 2nd September 2026. Will friends & family please accept this notice as an invitation to join us in celebrating Glenys's life. After the service everyone is invited to continue sharing memories of Glenys and to enjoy some light refreshments at Congleton Cricket Club, Booth Street, Congleton CW12 4DG.
There is no specific dress code, any colour is welcome.
The family are truly grateful for all the kind messages of condolences and cards that have been sent in Glenys's memory.
We request that instead of flowers, donations can be made to any of the three charities: The Christie Charity - the Melanoma Research Fund, Macmillan Cancer Support & East Cheshire Hospice. A donation box will be available at the service, however donations can be sent via the funeral directors.
