Elizabeth IreneTONKINSof Street Passed away on the 26th August 2022 supported by her family, at Torrwood Care Centre in Wells. She was 89 years old. Betty will be dearly missed by her children, Gerald, Valerie and Diane, her daughter-in-law Jackie and her sons-in-law Kevin and Andrew, as well as her grandchildren Carl, Becky, Jake and Oscar and her Great grandson Isaac. The funeral will take place on the 22nd September 2022 at Mendip Crematorium, Shepton Mallet at 1:30pm. There will be a live video link to the ceremony for those that wish to attend virtually and for those that only wish to attend the wake, this will take place after the ceremony, at the Victoria Club in Street. The family request no flowers but would appreciate it if people wanted to donate in Betty's name to MHA to support the charity that provided her care during her final 2 years and to aid their desire to 'enable people to live later life well'. This donation may be left in the donation box after the service. In accordance with Betty's preference there is no need for attendees to wear black to the ceremony.
