Fond memories of many visits to Congleton Cattle market with my father, and numerous farm sales and property auctions. A man of the utmost professionalism at all times and a long time family friend. Sincere condolences to Derek’s family.
From Sandra Heath (Australia), daughter of the late Eric and Eileen of Heaton House Farm, Rushton Spencer.

To one of life's gentlemen. I cannot begin to put into words the sad loss of Derek's passing will mean to everyone who knew him. I have known Derek for a long time, from football, Congleton cattle market and property matters. He was a man of great integrity and was always there to give help when needed. Derek you will be greatly missed but never forgotten. From Stephen and Janet Buckley.
