MarjorieTOWERSof Burnley Road, Weir, passed away on March 8, aged 77 years. Marjorie was a retired care assistant at Lancashire County Council. Born to Alice and Richard Foster, Marjorie grew up on Rossendale Crescent, Bacup. She enjoyed dress making, sewing and knitting. Wife to William Edward Towers (Eddie) (married November 6, 1971), mother to Alison, Mark, Claire, mother-in-law to Joshua, she had a large extended family. A service will be held on Thursday, March 28 at Knight and Boys, Stacksteads at 1pm, conducted by Kathy Unsworth. Flowers welcome. Funeral director: Paul Swarbrick for Knight and Boys.
