GyllaTOWNSHENDTOWNSHEND - GYLLA, 19th of August 2015. Peacefully at Dolgellau Hospital. Adored wife of the late John Ivor Townshend, of Farchynys Cottage, Bontddu, Barmouth, aged 88 years. Gylla's artistic and inspirational spirit touched all who met her and she leaves behind a large, loving family and many treasured friends who will miss her immeasurably. Service at St. Illtyd's Church, Llanelltyd, Dolgellau on Tuesday 1st September at 10.30 a.m., followed by Cremation at Aberystwyth Crematorium at 12.45 p.m. No flowers by request.
