DavidTOYEWe are devastated by the sudden death, on April 13th, of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, David John Toye.
He died peacefully at home with his wife at his bed side, just as he would have wished.
He was the nicest, kindest, most generous, humble, warm and funny man EVER, full of laughter and love for his family and friends.
He was very quick witted and always ready with a merry quip.
Most of his working life was spent at Jackson Building Centres, having worked in the offices there for 34 years. During the last years of his working life, he was a Purchasing Manager for the company and his negotiating skills were second to none. He was very conscientious in everything that he did.
He was a meticulous planner who loved organising social events at home, for work or church - there was no event too big or small for him to add an extra bit of magic to.
An artistic soul and a keen poet, David loved to express himself as a wordsmith better after a glass of Moet.
"Someday you will read or hear that David Toye is dead. Don't believe a word of it. I shall be more alive than I am now. I will just have changed my address. I will have gone into the presence of God."
