Absolutely loved seeing George and Linda when they came down on holiday to Cornwall each year, proper beauty’s they were.
Working in my auntie and uncles pub the sheaf of wheat is where I first got the pleasure of meeting them both with grandsons Conor and little George as we called him.
Each year we waited for them to come down ( saying I’m sure they are due down soon) ….. They were our local emits. ( You have to be privileged for us Cornish to say that 😉 )
George was so polite and generous and a true gentleman.
It was so sad to hear of his passing.
I will always remember him and so will the rest of the sheaf of wheat team.
Rest in peace George
And Love to all his family
From us all in St Ives
X
