The obituary notice of Elizabeth Fay TRATHEN (nee Stoddern)

Mum I miss you more and more each day. Can't believe you are gone. You have left the biggest void, ever, in my life. So many memories and the sound of you talking and laughing. You always knew what to say and do in any situation. No matter what you always guided me and gave me the strength to carry on and fight, in the most difficult times in my life as you did in yours. You have given me so many beautiful memories and I know I did the same for you. You gave me the wanderlust for travel and wanting to know and see so much of the world.
So much I could write but it would fill book after book after book. I know you will never leave me on my own and will continue to be near.
You will never know how many hundreds of lives you have touched and made better, from the day you were born, for just being you.
I know you weren't ready to go and that made it even harder to say good bye to you.
I love you mum and one day we will be together again xxxxxxxxxx

I didn’t know you that long but you shared some of your story with me, helped me with my tears and I am sorry that we didn’t have more time to get to know each other. RIP Fay, I will try and do some crafty bits. I hope you are up there with all your loved ones and having a ball x

I first met Fay when she was 16 years old. When we married she was 20 years old. We lived in several different houses in Camborne as time passed we had four great children, Esther,Terry Shane and Naomi the grandchildren are in the same vein Megan,Tiffany, Kaleb,Kotis and Dean after which along came Megan’s identical twin girls Leila and Lily they are now 11 months old. In her last few weeks Fay had the pleasure of seeing most of our family.Esther,Naomi,Shane,Justin and Dean spent hours with her the staff at the hospital were also brilliant.Fay was a person who would do anything for anyone she spent a lot of her life doing this...
We had great memories in our past life together I was sorry to see you so ill R.I.P.Fay,

WELL, I’LL TELL YOU NO LIES.
SHE WAS A BEAUTIFUL, TALENTED ARTIST
AND FOR ONE OF HER PIES YOU WOULD DIE.
SHE WAS QUIET BUT ALWAYS HAD A SMILE
AND AT TIMES WORE AN IMPISH GRIN.
HER LOVELY FAMILY SHE SIMPLY ADORED
THEY WERE THE REASON SHE DIDN’T GIVE IN.
