Joe's death, the sisters Anne and Mary and brothers Paddy and Eddie, his nieces and nephews would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on the sad passing of their beloved Fr. Joe. Thank you to all our neighbours and friends for the huge support in so many ways. Thank you to the staff of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gateshead, U.K., who looked after Fr. Joe with kindness and professionalism during his two months of illness. We were treated with courtesy on our many visits. We acknowledge the wonderful support of his many friends, parishioners and priests of the various parishes in which Fr. Joe ministered. A sincere thanks to Bishop Cunningham and to the large number of priests of the diocese of Hexham and Newcastle who concelebrated the Requiem Mass in St. Mary's Cathedral. We wish to acknowledge with thanks and our appreciation Fr. Joe's housekeeper Teresa, who looked after him so loyally for forty years. A sincere thank you to Bishop Denis Nulty and the many priests who concelebrated his Funeral Mass in Clane. A special thanks to Fr. Paul O'Boyle P.P. and to the Clane and Rathcoffey choirs for the beautiful ceremony at his Funeral Mass in Clane.
