Sara Louise GeorginaTREGONINGThe community came together to celebrate the life of a much-loved lady, Sara Louise Georgina Tregoning.
Sara's celebration of life service was held at Pencoys Church, Four Lanes, on the 3rd of July, 2026; a place that held a special place in her heart, as it was where she married her cherished husband, Steve, in 2013. The service was a touching tribute to a woman who touched so many lives and it reflected the love and respect held for her by all who knew her.
Led by Father Peter Fellows, who had the honour of officiating at Sara and Steve's wedding, the service was filled with warmth and comfort. His presence added a meaningful touch, reminding everyone of the beautiful journey Sara and Steve shared.
Sara's life was truly a testament to her loving nature and her passions. She had a special love for her miniature donkeys and all her animals, with her beloved dog Lulu holding a very special place in her heart. These animals brought her immense joy and served as constant companions through her days. Sara spent much of her time helping Steve run their farm at Wheal Plenty, where her caring spirit and hard-working nature shone brightly. Whether tending to the animals or working on the land, she approached everything with love and dedication.
The Church was packed with over 300 family members and friends who gathered to honour her memory. A beautifully written eulogy by her family, coupled with a heartfelt slideshow of treasured photographs, captured the essence of Sara's vibrant personality, her kindness, and the love she shared with those around her.
Following the service, loved ones gathered at The Sportsman's Arms, a place filled with happy memories of Sara's life. Sara and her father, Roger Barbery, spent many years running the pub together, transforming it into a lively community hub where everyone felt welcome. It was a fitting location for friends and family to share stories and continue celebrating her life and the legacy she left behind.
Sara's family are incredibly proud of her and the way she touched so many lives with her warmth, generosity and unwavering love.
Steve, Megan, Paul, Roger, Melinda & family sincerely thank everyone for their kindness, support and attendance at the service. Your presence meant the world to them.
A special and heartfelt thanks goes to Anna Sawle of Anna Sawle Floral Design St Agnes, a dear family friend, for the beautiful floral tributes. Anna also created the flowers for Sara and Steve's wedding, making her presence at this final farewell all the more meaningful with her love and care.
In Sara's memory, an impressive total of £1335.00 has been raised for Breast Cancer Now, a cause close to her heart.
Sara's spirit, kindness and love will be missed dearly but her legacy of compassion and joy will live on in the hearts of all she touched.
