Richard JTRELFAPassed away at the Leckhampton Court, Sue Ryder Hospice on Monday 13th December, with daughters Sarah and Alice and sister Jane by his side. He was a loving and much loved husband of the late Ann, dad, granddad, brother, uncle and friend. He made significant contributions to the life of Hempsted and Gloucester, including as a City Guide, Friend of the Waterways Museum and founder of Shopmobility. The funeral will take place on Friday 14th January 2022, at 1.30 pm, at Gloucester Crematorium. For those who wish to watch the Funeral Service online via live webcast, please email alice@turquoisenoise.com for the details. The family would like to thank all Richard's friends for their support, particularly during the past year. Also thanks to the Oncology Departments at Gloucester and Cheltenham, GPs at Rosebank Surgery, Palliative Care Team, District Nurses and the amazing end-of-life caring and skill of the staff at the Hospice. Donations will be split between St Swithun's Church, Hempsted, Cheltenham & Gloucester Hospital's Charity, Leckhampton Court, Sue Ryder Hospice Donations may be sent c/o Goodwins Funeral Directors, Peter Scott House, 2 Heathville Road, Gloucester GL1 3DP (Please make cheques payable to Goodwins Funeral Directors Donations Account)
