ReeceTROUPReece Troup, my only son, brother to Sinead, Jake, Kyle, Chloe, Lucy, Lauren and Olivia, died peacefully after a cardiac arrest at Addenbrookes hospital.

Reece was an amazing big brother to his little sisters Lauren and Olivia and especially treated Olivia with so much love and comfort to her. His presence is sorely missed by us all.

Reece was my only son and I miss him so deeply. His passing was handled by Addenbrookes with such respect. It was Reece’s wishes that he donated his organs. Sadly he wasn’t able to do this. But I did attempt to honour his wishes.

I would like to thank the efforts of his post man Laurence, a first responder Callum and the efforts of the east Anglian air ambulance service. Without the help they gave Reece, we wouldn’t have been able to say goodbye in the way we did.

It was an honour to be there at the end of Reece’s life the way I was at the beginning, ensuring he had a smooth transition over into his eternal sleep.

My heart is broken in many pieces, a part of me died that day when he passed over. He did so with such beauty.

Eternally in my thoughts, my heart and my children’s hearts for life.

🌺 So very sorry for your
immeasurable loss! 🌺

I worked with Reece in his class at Castle school, such a lovely boy, always smiling and giggling!
A pleasure to work with.
His spirit will always shine on…

To my only brother ❤️ I love you beyond words. You taught me so much in life. Patience, unwavering support and resilience. I remember one day you told me “sometimes you just have to get on with it”, and I did. Those words really impacted me in such a profound way. Because you were living proof of what you can achieve if you put everything aside and just crack on. I am forever proud of everything you achieved, and that will never change. You impacted my whole life, helped drive me into the career that I have, and pushed me to do better.

It feels weird spending time with family and you not being there. It’s something I will have to get used to. But your presence will always be missed. Rest easy broski, I hope you’re a millionaire wherever you are, just make sure you reserve me a house for when it’s my time to join you. Remember I want an outdoor pool. See you on the other side mate. Love, Chloe x

Reece, not only were you my friend, you were my best friend. You saw me at my lowest and at my happiest. Thank you for all the great times we had. Thank you for always being there for me and never judging me. I will always love you Reece rest easy.

I remember when we had a first date, it was in Morrisons cafe drinking hot chocolate. I enjoyed that moment and it has stayed with me forever.
