SallyTROWELLneé Cooper Sally passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday 3rd October 2021,aged 89 years. Dearly loved by her late husband Ray and step mother to Julie and Carol. Cherished 'Granny Sally' to James and his wife Louisa, and to Georgina and her partner Ben. Aunt to Deborah and Jonathan, Great Aunt to Fabrizio, Nicole and Marina. Sally bestowed her warm, humorous and generous personality on all who knew her, and will be remembered with great affection. Her enthusiasm for Shakespearian acting, tennis, sailing, art and needlework was shared over many years with family and friends, complementing her long and fulfilling career as a chartered physiotherapist in Derby hospitals. Sally had a great love of nature, especially her love of the sea, and shared many visits with Ray to Norfolk, a place dear to both their hearts. A Funeral Service will be held at Markeaton Crematorium on Friday 15th October, in the Round Chapel at 10:30 am. In light of the continuing Covid concerns there will be no planned gathering after the service. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to Cancer Research UK may be given online or sent to: Derwent House 9 Becket Street Derby DE1 1HT 01332 348 800 www.lymn.co.uk
