John Edward (Jack)TUBBYJack Ellington Jean & the family of the late Jack would like to thank everyone for the hundreds of messages on Facebook, for the lovely cards & flowers for the family and all who donated to Parkinson's UK. We were overwhelmed by all the people who came to see Jack take his last journey, the Age UK carers who cared for Jack when he was still at home & came to show their respects. The members & committee of Ellington Institute who came & placed a wreath with Big E in the hearse. The staff from Lynemouth Day Centre came out to see Jack on his way. At Bedlington some residents & staff at Chester Court said their farewells & at the crematorium Steve & Kevin walked in front of the hearse with miners lamps to light his way. Thank you to A.J.Gascoigne & Son for their professional, caring & flawless funeral arrangements, Malcolm Thomas for a caring personal service. Newbiggin florist for the exceptional floral arrangements, the Journal & the Chronicle for their kind write up. Jack will never be forgotten but the wonderful send off you all gave him made us, his family very proud. Till we meet again rest in peace, unless you're already sorting your ex colleagues out up there. Love you Jack.
