JohnTUCKERIt is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Tucker, beloved husband of Pat, who left us on January 30th, 2025, age 90. John was born on October 1st, 1934, in Dartmouth. He grew up in a close-knit community, where he forged lifelong friendships. John left school to work on local farms where he developed a deep love for the outdoors. Later in life he became a bakery roundsman then served the agricultural community in Newton Abbot where he and Pat had moved. He retired in 1994. He and Pat were also keen ballroom dancers. John's warm smile, generous spirit, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends will be forever cherished. He is survived by Pat his loving wife; Nieces Marilyn and Vanessa and countless friends and colleagues whose lives he touched. A memorial service will be held on February 28th, 2025, at The Avenue Church, Newton Abbot, at 1.30 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Dogs Trust. John's legacy of kindness, compassion, and dedication to the natural world will live on through all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
