You faced your trials my darling, with courage to the last, staunch and true you battled on, until the die was cast. Although deep down you always knew, you could not ever win. You fought and made the effort, and never would give in. Now you're gone, I've lost you, I'll weep and miss you every day, memories like summer roses, will strewn the path along life's way.
