Philip BernardTUGBYSadly passed away, aged 74 years in Glenfield Hospital. Dearly loved Husband of Edna and loving Dad of Jayne. You faced your trials my darling, with courage to the last, staunch and true you battled on, until the die was cast. Although deep down you always knew, you could not ever win. You fought and made the effort, and never would give in. Now you're gone, I've lost you, I'll weep and miss you every day, memories like summer roses, will strewn the path along life's way. Love Edna A gift in this world so precious and rare, is the love a Dad and a Daughter share, we shared that love Dad, you and I, from the day I was born 'til the day you died, you cared for me more than words can say, your care, your love, I can never repay. God bless you Dad. Heartbroken Daughter Jayne and Monty. Phil's funeral service will take place at Loughborough Crematorium on Monday 17th November at 11.45am. All are welcome to Top Railway, Shepshed after the service. Family flowers only please, but donations may be made to MacMillan Nurses and forwarded to Shepshed & District Funeral Services, 31a Belton Street, Shepshed, Leics LE12 9AA. Telephone 01509 503234.
