The obituary notice of David TURNBULL

I met David in Melbourne in early 60s. I'm an Irish actor. we were so similar in appearance that his closest friends couldn't tell us apart. He approached me at a party at the St Martins theatre and said you're the bloke who everybody says looks like me. He said he couldn't see any resemblance. I asked him what his last role was. He said it was Bassanio in Merchant. that was my last role. Before that he was in playing a soldier in Royal Hunt. So was I at the time. Me in Perth, him in Sydney or Melbourne. I asked him when he was born. Why, he asked. Maybe there's something in this astrology business, I replied. It's a lot of rubbish, he said. Turns out he was born around noon on 24 April. I was born around midnight on the 23rd April in Belfast. With the rotation of the planet that would make our births synchronise. Spooky, or what?
